National Parks

Wolfs Robe has been performing for the National Parks Service for almost 5 years now performing at such places as Devils Tower-WY , Grand Canyon-AZ , Badlands-SD , Mount Rushmore-SD, William Howard Taft Home- OH, Chaco culture National Historic Park- NM, Petroglyph National Monument-NM, Petrified Forest National Park- AZ and Montezuma Castle- AZ he is very honored and grateful for the opportunity. (See also Kokopellis Legacy) NPS programs usually consist of campfire programs & amphitheater educational/performances where the audience receives both a History lecture and concert. We know that not all National Parks receive the same funding so we will work with you as much as possible to bring Wolfs Robe to your Park. NOTE: sometimes outside the park communities in cooperation with the NPS will fund Wolfs Robe to work somewhere in there community such as Schools and Libraries

 Anatomy of the NAF

The Anatomy of the Native American flute (NAF) is a totally in depth look at this Beautiful instrument. This program is partially a power point program showing the detailed inside workings of the NAF & the other a typical lecture on its History when, where & why with a bit of entertainment when Wolfs Robe plays some Historical flutes such as Pre Pueblo flute also a Cherokee river cane flute from the mid 1700’s.This program is ideal for College’s and History groups, not a bad idea to also schedule a concert to go along with it. Flute Workshop

Native American flute making workshop. Learn to make your own NAF, Wolfs Robe will work with up to 10 people per workshop learning construction and History. Start from a pre drilled flute blank that has been pre-assembled by Wolfs Robe for timing sake. (the photo below is un assembled). When finished you will have a fully functional NAF that will give you years and years of enjoyment. You will also receive a booklet to take with you that will teach you some traditional Native American songs and techniques. This workshop is a 2hr workshop. When deciding on this workshop keep in mind that flutes will need to be assembled 1 month before day of workshop so that means that the cost of $100 per person will need to be paid at that time.
